Atmospheric science has never been more relevant to society and sustainable development.

We are finding solutions to environmental challenges - from forecasting floods and periods of poor air quality, to modelling robust projections of sea level rise and measuring vehicle exhaust emissions.

The UK’s Atmospheric Science Conference 2021 will cover the latest weather, climate and pollution research, spanning a range of research disciplines, applications and collaborations.

We will showcase exciting and impactful research, new developments and multi-disciplinary work related to our themes of air pollution, climate and high-impact weather, and long-term global change.

This year we are also keen to hear about how today’s science serves the future through more sustainable research practices, shaping policy, protecting the environment and improving people’s lives. The multidisciplinary nature of the sustainability challenge also invites participation from the fields of health, government and industry.

Our two-day conference will combine plenary speakers, parallel sessions for oral presentations, lightning talks with supporting posters, poster exhibitions, workshops and networking events.

The call for papers has now opened and submissions can be made online.
